I’m so honored to finally share some wild facts about my favorite comedy of all time. Sure films the likes of ‘Animal House’ and ‘Caddyshack’ are close runner-ups for me, but in the end, there’s just something about the iconic film ‘Stripes’ that always struck a comedy chord with me.
‘Stripes’ is a raunchy film made in 1981 that features Bill Murray, Harold Ramis, John Candy, Judge Reinhold, just to name a few. It’s a film essentially about two friends down on their luck who enlist in the army where, of course, hijinks ensues. But beat for beat, wry joke after wry joke, this film I have watched countless times and it never ceases to make me howl with laughter. And as you might expect, it’s not exactly a PC film that you will ever see the likes of its kind again. RIP over-the-top old-school comedy.
