In light of the recent announcement that ‘The Princess Bride’ is being remade and the major warranted backlash, it got me to thinking, ‘What is a movie remake we would actually 100% get on board with?’ And I turned to your brilliant minds for answers.
I’ll go first
Mine would be ‘Spawn’. I remember watching that as a kid & thoroughly enjoying MOST of the movie, however, there are scenes where the technology was just not up to snuff. The climax of the movie takes place with Spawn going to Hell to rescue his wife, Wanda, and the visual effects are beyond laughable. The whole sequence is embarrassing and it sort of ruins the entire film. Or at least prevents it from being truly great.
I feel that movie could be rebooted today and it could be incredible! There have already been many talks about the potential of this becoming a reality, so I’ll keep my fingers crossed
