It’s been adapted so many times, that most people would be hard-pressed to say they’re not familiar with the story. Written in 1843 by Charles Dickens, it’s one of his best known works, and is a prime example of a gothic ghost story, that happens to take place during the holidays. As such, it’s usually labelled as the latter, but the original text is actually very frightening and disturbing. Which leads to some very differing interpretations on screen. This isn’t all of them, by any means, but just some of the best and worst of the lot. Like this post? 0 Liked! 0 Disliked 0
