The 94th Academy Awards are tonight and, while that is all fine and dandy, most people don’t give two shits anymore. If you don’t believe me, just look at the numbers. In 2021, the Oscars brought in just 10.4 million views, 56% less than the previous year. If that is not a sign that they are dying, I don’t know what is.
