All right, let’s just start with this right out of the gate: I don’t know if Blade Runner was the first dystopian sci-fi movie set in the year 2019, but it definitely started a trend. The year “2019” is FILLED with fictional scenarios, and weirdly enough, a couple of them accurately predicted the future.
Barely. So let’s take a look at what they actually got right (and completely wrong).
