The thing about mishearing music lyrics is: it doesn’t have to make sense. It sticks in your brain one time, and then forever afterwards, that’s how the lyrics sound — regardless if it makes sense or not.
Everyone has one. Maybe it’s revealed by belting it out incorrectly on a road trip, or by seeing the actual lyrics spelled out during karaoke.
WIth lyrics so easily accessible in today’s world, you can get called out mighty quickly for mis-singing lyrics.
