Every year, our Chicago Chapter throws one of the biggest unofficial meetups in the country called Chiverish. Chivers from every state plan their pilgrimage to America’s St. Paddy’s Day mecca for a weekend to party with a purpose.
Last year’s party was one of the craziest we’ve ever crashed and funds went to the 100 Club of Chicago. This year, the chapter decided to raise money for Creativets, a Chive Charities recipient and phenomenal organization that provides disabled veterans the opportunity to use art, music and creative writing to address the psychological and emotional needs that arise from service-related trauma. We were treated to a performance from the Cretivets team at our annual Green Gala last year, so when we heard they would be performing this year, we booked our fights and prepped our livers.
