After police were called to reports of two men switching price tags in a North Texas retail store, the arresting officers decided to search the suspects’ vehicles and, in doing so, found something that was truly shocking.
A small, emaciated puppy called Lucky was found sitting in the front seat in a strange and lethargic state. Horrifically, the poor pup was showing the symptoms of a serious heroin overdose. The officers sprung into action, delivering the traumatised animals to the North Texas Emergency Pet Clinic.
