I have to apologize right off the bat for this one, because the chances of you crying a river are pretty high. There’s this quote that was floating around somewhere about a dog that said: “He might only be here for part of your life, but for him you are his whole life.” That really hit home for me, as an owner of two dogs. They’re getting older, and I dread the day that I’ll ever have to put them down. But it doesn’t have to be all sad.
