We all show our affection for our beloved pets in different ways. Some serve up delicious human food, others take their little ones on adventures to the park and beyond. But one company is literally letting owners have their animals be transformed into royal paintings to be proudly displayed to all on the mantel.
Crown & Paw takes shots of people’s pets and combines authentic 19th-century portraits and rare Renaissance-era oil paintings to make something truly regal.
The inspiration, according to the company’s creator, “Crown & Paw began as a passion project. We spent a rainy weekend in Amsterdam, riding bicycles down the picturesque canals, eating tasty waffles and pancakes, and visiting some of the most beautiful art galleries in the world such as the Stedelijk and the Rijksmuseum.”
