As LONGSHSOTS approaches its halfway point, I wanted to thank all the Chivers for helping make it the success it’s become. Trying to pull off a highly produced, commercial-free serialized podcast is tricky but if you get it right, it hums. In many ways the podcast itself reflects the overall theme of LONGSHOTS – sometimes you have to step outside your comfort zone to get where you want to go. Sometimes you win, sometimes you lose.
And sometimes you tie (a dollar for anybody who gets that reference).
But once you commit, it takes you directions that you never expected. I mean, who would have guessed that Episode 3: “Keep Calm and Chive On” would become the most downloaded podcast … in England?
