I’ve always told casual observers & noobs to theCHIVE that the Humor and Hotness get people in the door, but it’s always the Heartfelt Humanity that keeps longtime fans coming back. There’s something so wonderful about witnessing a group of like-minded people who can simultaneously appreciate a beautiful woman, belly-laugh at a silly meme, and even bawl our eyes out witnessing someone dealing with a seemingly insurmountable disability get the much-needed help they need to give them a chance and happiness and hope!
Doing good by our fellow man, from the most severe orphan causes, to the Chiver reaching out in a jam, to the smallest Random Acts of Kindness, are all deeply baked into the lore that we all love about this place. And so with that in mind, in addition to helping to support Chive Charities even more aggressively than ever before, we also want to help foster the simple act of RAKing our fellow Chivers at all costs! Afterall, sometimes the very smallest favors are the things that get us out of a funk and remind us of the amazing humanity going on all around us. Lord knows we need that tender caring now more than ever. So we’re doing everything we can to make that simple act as easy as possible to share with all other misfits!
