The wheel is often credited with being one of the first inventions from early humans. But in the grand scheme of things, it is a relatively young innovation. The Ancient Mesopotamians in modern-day Iraq were the first to use the wheel about 5,500 years ago, but by then, countless inventions had already been thought up by humans that we still use today.
