Henry William Frauenthal
Doctor Henry William Frauentag didn’t really put the hippocratic oath into play when the ship started sinking. Instead, he jumped off the side of the Titanic into a lifeboat that was being lowered, full of people. He knew, as a first class male, that he wasn’t going to be welcome, so he waited until the last possible second and leaped.
He landed on a woman, shattering her ribs, as well as causing some other injuries. It was all for nothing though, because while he survived the wreck, he ended up trying that maneuver again in 1927, from a the seventh floor of a hospital building, to his death. All that effort do survive, only to kill himself 2 decades later.
