As a long-term employee and Chiver myself, I’ve been privy to some amazing happenings with this company throughout the years. I’ve seen phenomena that have moved me to happy tears, and been inspired by our community’s continued kindness in the best of times, and the worst. It’s with this in mind that I wanted to put the spotlight back on the good deeds of Chivers to remind us all once more why this nation of misfits is like nothing on the planet.
It all began last Sunday when I got an email from a Chiver named John S. who essentially told me, “Bob, be on the lookout for a campaign in the comments section to help Chive Nation raise funds for our good friend Joshua who is in a tough financial spot.” I looked to the Gofundme page, aptly named ‘Dim Days for Shiny’ to see for myself what was going on…
