Language is tricky.
We’ve all mispronounced a word or used a phrase completely wrong, and we probably did it with total confidence.
No shame! Mistakes make us human. Hell, I’ll probably have a couple typos in this article. (Totally on purpose, of course, because… irony.)
While verbal mix-ups are a part of life, that doesn’t mean we can’t get some of them sorted!
Now, let’s dig into a few common misused and mispronounced words and phrases, so we can all speak with a little more confidence (or at least avoid any humiliating slip-ups in the future).
