What does it mean to go to the ends of the earth for someone? What does it mean to dedicate your life to making someone else’s easier? What does it mean to love someone so much, you would do anything in your power to make them happy?
When that person is your only daughter, when that person is battling one of the rarest, life-limiting diseases in the world, going to any length possible to help her seems like a no-brainer.
To the moon? That’s nothing.
In 2011, Envera Omercevic was born the youngest of three children, and the first girl. The family was thrilled and her two older brothers quickly became her closest friends and fiercest protectors.
