The first time I ever heard about Discovery Island, it was part of an online horror story (a creepypasta), so I assumed it must have been made up.
That’s when I was much younger though. I know better now that Discovery Island is a very real place. It’s actually on the official map of Disney World, but it has no markers on that map. It’s a green splotch in Bay Lake on the map, and it’s one of the park’s most mysterious oddities.
