All you want to do is get home/ get to your destination and it keeps on getting delayed and delayed. I once spent close to 8 hours in O’Hare Airport on the way to Vegas due to a snowstorm. Not that I’ve got anything against the Windy City, but when you’re stuck in an airport, patiently (them impatiently) waiting for information, you start to get a little antsy and it turns into you to getting pissed off and starting to wreck shit. But hey, at least the bars were open. The passengers of an Air Canada flight from Toronto, ON to St. John’s, Newfoundland weren’t so lucky. Late last week, the flight between the two cities was diverted due to weather and ended up chilling in Fredericton, New Brunswick. At night. In an airport that was closed. Lucky for us a passenger named John Simms live-tweeted the experience and the pizza miracle that happened. Because anytime pizza magically appears due to some heroism, it’s a goddamn miracle.
