My brother Rick was lucky enough to be born in 1979, which lumps him in with arguably the most amusing, and underappreciated generations of all — GenX. Those born from 1965 – 1980 are a great, but often overlooked group of people who’ve been largely left out of all the battles and heavy-handed conversations that needlessly fill our media airwaves today. Nowadays people love to talk about the soft and bitter Millenials, and how the Boomers allegedly ruined it for everyone, but Generation X always gets to coast undetected in the clear as they nom on their popcorn and enjoy the shitshow all around them.
This post is dedicated to those underrated GenXers. As a guy born in 1984, who very much doesn’t love to be lumped in with the Millenial crowd, I’m supremely jealous of the generation that came just before mine…
