When I sat down to write the intro to this post, I realized I’ve never actually been “knocked out” for a procedure. I’ve had parts of my body numbed (pro-tip: don’t wait to address an ingrown toenail or else they numb your toe and you get to watch a nurse at an urgent care nonchalantly sever the connection between your big toe and your big toenail), but I’ve never been put under, so I haven’t said some crazy shit during a medical procedure.
These folks though, nurses and patients alike, have heard all kinds of nonsense, and it’s a blast:
