For the uninitiated, Duolingo is an app you can get for your phone that helps teach you various languages. It also has a reputation for being… A bit aggressive with its notifications. To be fair, a lot of apps do this (fuck you, Bumble, I’ll swipe when I want to, stop blowing up my phone), but Duolingo has a mascot, and that owl mascot has become the face of hilariously aggressive memes.
