I’m sure any given officer has heard every excuse out there from people caught with drugs. “Uuhh.. that’s not mine.” “Those are portobello.” “Forget the drugs, officer, there’s a dragon coming straight for us!” But this guy’s excuse was so lame, the cops couldn’t help but mock him on Facebook.
When the St. Marys, Georgia, police department found 26-year-old Richard Relliford with a Ziploc bag full of ganja during a traffic stop, they shared a photo of the confiscated plants — as well as Richard’s fantastically terrible excuse — on their Facebook page.
