August is a weird month because it wasn’t until putting this post together that I realized August doesn’t really have any famous holidays. Call me crazy, but I feel like every month of the year has a widely recognized holiday except for August.
It’s just a month for counting down the days until Summer has gone, but it turns out there are plenty of bizarre holidays to celebrate in the coming weeks, and not all of them are just an attempt to sell more Hallmark cards:
