“This is my brother.
This photo hangs in my shop.
It’s him in Afghanistan when he was still in the service as a Dust Off Medic. Several times my business has had difficulty or I’ve missed a deadline and had a pissed-off client, and I look at this photo and say to myself,
“I’ll never have as bad a day as he had.”.
I’ve had customers ask why my blood pressure never changes, no matter how bad a job might sometimes go, and I’ll point to that photo and explain what I just said.
My brother would probably not be overjoyed I posted this.
