Have you ever wondered what it would be like to meet your biggest hero? For John & I, sitting down with Bruce Campbell was like getting to chat with Santa Claus himself. And to be quite honest, the man is as dashing as he is entertaining. Our discussion ranged from his life growing up in a small midwestern town in Michigan, to meeting his most outrageous fans, what it was like visiting the troops at a FOB in Afghanistan, and even how treacherous it is to have a massive movie set village constructed on his home’s property. AND if you think we didn’t speak at length about Army of Darkness, and the entire Evil Dead universe, you’d be dead-ite wrong. I’m sorry, I couldn’t help myself.
Aside from being one of the world’s most groovy guys, Bruce is quite the scholar, having read about an array of unique & interesting influential people throughout time that have helped shape his philosophy on life. I can say without hesitation that Bruce absolutely lived up to the lifetime of hype we’d built-up in our minds. And you guys are going to love listening to every once of this wild conversation!
We’re also so excited to continue watching Bruce and company kickass in Season 2 of Ash Vs. Evil Dead, which kicks off Sunday Oct. 2nd on the Starz network!!
