2016 has kicked off in a big way for Chive Nation. Everyone knows that chapters like to have a good time – that’s a given. This year, we’re channeling that energy to really ramp it up and help local communities – to party with a purpose. Chivers across the country are finding ways to avoid the cold and for the most part – as you can imagine, a little bit of booze is involved. Chive Nation Chapters are filling up hockey stadiums and local bars to raise a glass, share some laughs, and benefit all sorts of charitable causes. Bona Fide Chapters Chive Minnesota and Michigan Chivers supported their local hockey teams, the Minnesota Wild and the Detroit Red Wings, respectively. The Chive Minnesota crew raised $3,800 for Defending the Blue Line. Over 400 Michigan Chivers stampeded The Joe(home of the Red Wings) and was able to raise $3,073 for Chive Charities. Chivers in Ohio participated in a small get together to collect new diapers for the Columbus Diaper Coalition to provide diapers to families who are suffering from financial difficulties.
With a brand new year to up the ante and Chive Nation Chapters ready to have some fun while making their communities 10% happier, we’re stepping on the gas and ready to party with a purpose.
