Fitness trainer Amanda Lee has this whole Instagram thing figured out. What started as a page to help motivate people to get into shape has transformed into quite the lucrative business, earning Lee anywhere between $3,000-$5,000 a post. Brands approach Lee on a daily basis hoping they can get her to endorse their products to her nearly 10 million followers.
“I could do 3 or 4 [posts] a week, but I won’t, because I want to keep my page fun and authentic and keep the followers engaged. I try not to do too many posts per month, because I want to keep engagement high. You won’t be as likable if you do too much. I don’t want to only be promoting products, but also enjoying what I do.”
Lee said she doesn’t plan on doing this forever and is hoping to build her brand and start her own fitness empire.
