We first launched our KCCO Thin Blue Line T-shirt back in July in response to the tragic shootings in Dallas. Since then, with proceeds from Thin Blue Line, Chive Nation fundraising through Crowdrise, and one terrifying leap out of a plane, Chivers have raised over $130K for law enforcement, benefiting the ATO and C.O.P.S. foundations.
We’ve never seen a response like this. Ever.
Because of that, today, the KCCO Thin Blue Line movement returns to focus on a rarely-acknowledged, but EXTREMELY important part of the police forces: K-9 units.
These dogs help in almost every aspect of police service, from bringing in criminals to search and rescue. Recognizing their importance, the National Police Dog Foundation supports police forces across the country with K-9 units.
