Winning an MVP is no easy feat in any sport. An athlete must be one of the top players in the league while leading their team to excellence. The NFL definitely has a bias towards running backs and quarterbacks, as the last defensive player to take home the award was Lawrence Taylor in 1986, but these are some athletes who have never been awarded an MVP, even when they were more than deserving throughout their careers.
